Our My Lowdhams Customer Experience team members are made up of aftersales specialists who will take care of you every step of the way. The information below will help you understand how we resolve warranty, servicing, and maintenance issues with your caravan or motorhome. You will find a list of answers to regularly asked questions and details of the Lowdhams Customer support team, who are ready to help you with any issue regarding your leisure vehicle.

As a My Lowdhams customer, if something goes wrong we’ll be there. Our Customer Experience Team offer phone support and can take calls between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday, Saturday from 8.00am to 1.00pm. Habitation services have to be carried out yearly, in line with the registration date of the vehicle. Without a complete in date service history this could void your warranty.

First mechanical service is after the first two years, unless a VW then they need to be yearly.

During a service we will drain all water tanks on your motorhome. To recommission your motorhome make sure all drain valves are in/closed and then refill water tanks as normal.

Any work that we carry out on your motorhome / caravan is guaranteed for 1 year so if a repair we carried out failed and is directly related, then you can come back and we will repair it again.

Please clear all walkways, areas we need access too and empty any garage/locker areas as much as possible for damp testing.

Our service centre has a rigorous quality control process to ensure that all maintenance work is completed to a high standard. Our technicians use only the highest-quality parts, are trained by manufacturer technicians and adhere to the NCC’s strict industry standards and guidelines.

Anything above 12v is where the battery should be holding. If 10.4 or below this is critical and will cause damage to the battery.

We want to help you resolve your complaint as quickly as possible.

Lowdhams is committed to providing a high-quality service to everyone we deal with. To do this, we need you to give us any comments about our service, and to tell us when we get things wrong. We want to help you resolve your complaint as quickly as possible. You can so this by submitting a complaint on the form here.

We listen to your complaints, treat them seriously, and learn from them so that we can continuously improve our service.

Our standards for handling complaints:

  • We treat all complaints seriously, whether they are made by letter or by email.
  • You will always be treated with courtesy and fairness – we would hope, too, that you will always be courteous and fair in your dealings with our staff.
  • We will deal with your complaint promptly – we will acknowledge receipt of a complaint within 2 working days and we will send you a full reply within 10 working days of receipt.
  • If we cannot send a full reply within 10 working days of receipt, we will tell you the reason why and let you know when we will be able to reply in full.

Amelia Advisor

Amelia has worked at Lowdhams for nearly three years. Recently, she has moved over to help checking in caravans and keeping customers updated while their caravans are on site. Outside of work she loves eating out and travelling.

Jemma
Jemma Advisor

Jemma works in the service department as a service adviser providing customers with support and updating them on the progress of their motorhome or camper when on site. Jemma has been with us since October 2022. Previous to working at Lowdhams, she worked in healthcare for over 12 years where she devoted herself to caring for vulnerable people, allowing them to live independently. Outside of work Jemma enjoys the great outdoors, especially walking her dog!

Jenny Advisor

Jenny is a service advisor based in our customer experience team office with an extensive background in aftersales. Jenny has been a part of the team for 2 and a half years, she works 3 days a week and spends her time away from the office with her little boy.

Sheri
Sheri Advisor

This is Sheri, a new addition to the team after having joined Lowdhams at the beginning of January 2024. Sheri previously worked in aftersales in the sofa industry. She enjoys music, films, and loves a good bottle of white wine!

Lily
Lily Receptionist

This is Lily our seasonal member of staff, currently working as a service receptionist, she joined the team last summer. She is currently a full-time university student studying zoology and comes to work out of term time. Besides from studying and working Lily is on the ladies’ football committee for the university, organising social events. Down time is spent socialising with friends, family and enjoy a good night out.

Dan Advisor

Dan joined the team in June after fancying a change in his careers path from his previous jobs involving working as a Custody Officer in a Young Offenders Institutes and security. When not following Reading football club around the country he is relaxing watching sports and movies.

Heidi our service receptionist joined the Lowdhams team in April 2023. Previously working 14 years at a Nottingham Football Club very exciting challenging job and good for the social life. Fun time is spent socialising with friends, going out for meals and nice bottle of wine.
