Lowdhams operates a large, purpose-built motorhome, campervan and caravan storage site with nearly 300 pitches, including specially allocated pitches for larger motorhomes and caravans.

CaSSOA Approved storage facility

Built to the widely recognised Caravan Storage Site Owner’s Association (CaSSOA) Gold standard, our facility features a full perimeter fence, hard standing pitches, and controlled access via swipe card. CCTV and ANPR monitors all traffic for added security. Access to the storage area is primarily during daylight hours via a tarmac service road. To ensure the safety of your stored vehicle, our site is protected by an overnight security guard. All motorhome, campervan, and caravan storage customers can also take advantage of our wash bay, overnight stay facility with electric hook-up, fresh water, and Elsan point. Pre-booking is required for overnight stays.

Storage pricing

The price for January – December 2025 are as follows:

  • Caravan (Single): £705.00
  • Motorhome/8ft Wide Caravan: £824.00
  • Caravan/Motorhome (Twin): £922.00

Plus a one-off fee of £10.00 for a swipe card to gain access. Customers are allocated their own personal bay and can come and go as they please.
Summer Hours: 8am – 9pm
Winter Hours: 8am – 5pm
(Closed on 25th/26th December, and 1st January.)

Our storage facility is open 362 days a year! For access outside our normal retail opening hours, please call the number displayed on the front gate for security assistance.

Access is subject to seasonal storage hours (Summer/Winter), and entry is not permitted after hours (see link below for retail opening hours).

Our storage compound is open 362 days of the year – only being inaccessible on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

If you are visiting the facility outside of our retail opening hours, please call the number on the front gate for security assistance.

Lowdhams offers a storage facility for all leisure vehicle types falling under a caravan, campervan or motorhome. Pricing is found on this page, and there is a swipe card to gain access for security.

All storage customers receive a proximity card, allowing access/egress to the storage compound during storage opening hours.

Washing or maintenance on your vehicle within the compound is not permitted, however, we offer a dedicated wash bay facility at the entrance of the compound for all storage customers to use (no third party or unauthorised companies to use this facility).

No booking is required. The wash bay operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Simply check in at reception, leave your name and bay number, and sign out the key.

No, electric hook-up points (EHU) are not available in the storage compound, however, we do offer an overnight facility, known as our rally field. This is exclusively for My Lowdhams members and storage customers. The rally field has 10 electric hook-ups and a wild camping option (without electric). Stays are limited to a maximum of two nights and are provided free of charge by Lowdhams.

Please note, there is no shower or toilet block, so you will need to use your own facilities during your stay. A fresh water supply and Elsan disposal point for green biochemical fluids only are available on the overnight facility.

Our terms and conditions strictly prohibit any servicing or maintenance within the storage compound or anywhere on Lowdhams grounds by third parties or unauthorised companies. Any servicing or warranty work must be arranged off-site.

If you are a My Lowdhams customer, you can book your vehicle into our approved service centre. Our team will collect your vehicle from the compound and return it once payment has been received.

Our storage opening hours adjust in line with daylight-saving time changes.

If you arrive back after the compound has closed, don’t worry! Simply call for security assistance upon arrival. However, please note that access to the compound will not be possible, as our storage gates and barriers operate on an automatic locking system. If you do manage to return just before closing, be sure to allow yourself enough time to exit the compound before it locks.

If you are unable to access the compound, we can offer you an overnight stay on our rally field until the compound reopens at 8am the next day – electric hook-up is not guaranteed.
