Caravan and Motorhome Club Motorhome Design Awards 2019

Judging took place during the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show at the NEC in February, where 99 vehicles were submitted for the Motorhome Design Awards 2019. The aim of the competition is to provide the best quality and quantity of information to members and buyers.

From electrics, comfort and kitchens to ventilation systems, technical aspects and stowage; the vehicles were assessed on many key factors by an independent panel of judges.

Lowdhams are extremely proud to announce we won the ‘Over Four Berth Coachbuilt Dealer Specials’ category with the Swift Bessacarr Hi-Style 596, as well as our stunning Swift Freestyle 694 placing third in this competitive category. The brand-new Summit Campervan proudly places third in the ‘Any Campervan Dealer Specials’ category as well as the Hymer B MCI 580 in ‘A Class over £90,000’ which wowed judges with it’s strong partnership with Mercedes.

Bailey celebrated two huge victories with their Bailey Alliance 59-2 placing first in the ‘Coachbuilts £45,000 – £40,000’ section and the Bailey Autograph 79-4T also placing first in the ‘Coachbuilts £55,000 – £65,000’ category! Last but definitely not least; the ‘Coachbuilts over £65,000’ category saw Swift take the trophy with the Swift Kon-Tiki 675 High-Line Cab!
